You know what I fucking hate? I hate it when I click a link to a blog like Jalopnik’s post today “The 25 Most Redundant Car Technologies” and it’s a fucking “gallery”.  BTW- I clicked that link off of Gizmodo’s site, which is a partner blog.

By gallery I mean I can’t just read the list, I have to click through 20+ fucking pictures.

Damn that’s annoying.

Want to do it right? Do what Topless Robot does. Just write it out on one  page and list things so you can read them… like these:

The 10 Newspaper Comic Strips that Need to F**king End or this one The 8 PG-Rated Movies That Should Not Have Been Rated PG or this The 10 Star Wars Toys that Unintentionally Look Like Other Celebrities

AND you know what else I hate?! When I realize that if I drop the end text “gallery” from that original Jalopnik url, the post IS in list form and I look like a DICK and just wasted 5 minutes typing all this. . . . bah

But still… I shouldn’t have to muck w/ the URL…

Yes I replaced them, no worries. I should have done it earlier though. It’s easy to mount a new set.

I thought I still had some brake surface on there because one edge still had (barely) those groove lines, but when I looked at the other side with a flashlight I thought I’d better replace them before the next ride.

(Bryan sent me this) If you aksed me- “how about some tacos with homemade tortillas and braised beef?” I’d say, “fuckin’ A, hand me some!”

But if I knew that there would be hentai-inspried spikes involved, I’d probably pass.

Check out this awesome vid from Foodtease called Braised Cow Lips.

The part that freaked me out is when he dragged his knife across the spikes after cooking. That noise haunts me.

Go watch it on their site though- it’s much better in the larger format.

Cory, Jen, Jane & I ate brunch at The Kitchen Table in Mountain View.

I had a Chakchouka and it was really good.

The Kitchen Table is a Kosher restaurant and they’re closed Friday night – and on Saturday.

people keep asking me about the dish- It was served with a fresh (homemade?) pita bread. It’s like a Jewish-Tunisian Huevos Rancheros… and it was damn good.
