This author and his Dismas Hardy books were recommended by a friend. I found the book pretty enjoyable- mostly because it’s set where I hang out- SF. I enjoyed the settings of various episodes of the book. They remind me how much the city has changed in the past 20 years (this particular book is set in the late 80s).
Other than the locations, there are a few parts of the book that I wasn’t completely sold on plot-wise. But that’s fine, I was still absorbed in the story. Hopefully I’ll enjoy others in the series.
