Clarification for Andreas

Andreas, I must’ve pulled a Kerry, lemme explain the joke-

The reason I wrote “damn foreigners” in the last post was due to comments on SF Gate that I meant to link to. I forgot to link, hence the odd comment.

Usually whenever the hard hitting SF Chronicle has an article about gangs or shootings or problems with something (Spare the Air Days, for example) there are always comments online that place the blame on people from Oakland or Richmond, or just the East Bay in general. Ya know, like Raiders fans. Yuck.

Sure enough, after the shooting story, there were comments like the following all over (some have been pulled):

SF_Native – what are you talking about? This problem has nothing to do with SF. It’s the trash from the East Bay who come over and cause these problems.



I say shut off the Bay Bridge and BART for 24 hours and keep ‘em out so that we can have a proper halloween to ourselves!

Start an event in Oakland on MacArthur and one on Richmond Blvd in Richmond. Have Snopp Dogg perform. The Castro will be suddenly safe.
